on “He Gets Us”, The neutered Laodicean church, and Psalm 25

The Tangent College

Hello Colleagues,

I have only one subject for this particular email as Seth Hancock reports “Neutered Christianity on Display at Super Bowl” concerning the “He Gets Us” ads during the Super Bowl. It’s not the halftime show or all the other nonsense of the Super Bowl, but when supposed Christians use the name of Christ to support the gospel according to Judas, it makes me livid.

As I was casually watching the TV I took notice of the protest sign by a person fed up with the tyranny, “liberty, not lockdowns” which initially drew me in until I realized that this “He Gets Us” advertisement was actually calling liberty minded people “haters”  -haters of the liars and the Covidites.  They closed the ad with the despicably twisted and divisive statement “Jesus loves those you hate”.  I did not know this was a supposed “Christian” group that ran this ad but I recognized the use of “hate” as the mark of the LGBT Mafia.

From Seth’s article –Dave Daubenmire wrote:“Fake words. Fake words lead to fake behaviors. Fake behaviors lead to fake laws. Fake laws lead to fake justice. Fake justice leads to fake liberty. Fake liberty leads to a fake God. A fake god leads to a fake Christians.”“We are in the mess we are in today because most of what you hear from your local churches is fake. The Fake Gospel has led to the destruction of this once-Christian nation.”“I am not so worried about the Fake News being reported in the news media today. Fake news is nothing more than the bastard child of the Fake Gospel. I am far less worried about the lies of CNN than I am the lies of the pulpit that make the act of lying more palatable to the masses.”  – emphasis mine

All you have to do is listen to the language of these people and if you know God, if you know Jesus, if you are a real Christian, and you know your Bible, this should make you livid as well.

According to “He Gets Us”  We simply want everyone to understand the authentic Jesus as he’s depicted in the Bible — the Jesus of radical forgiveness, compassion, and love.

Oh really? I’m not familiar with that  Jesus perhaps because I actually read the whole Bible and it speaks absolutely nothing of this “radical” Jesus. The real “authentic” Jesus of the Bible was the One that made a whip and entered the temple and drove out the moneychangers who were turning the house of God into business.  Jesus had no compassion for the Pharisees who approved of this business of the temple of which I’m sure they took a healthy cut.   This radical Jesus shouted out that they had turned his father’s house into a den of thieves. I don’t hear too much “radical forgiveness, compassion, and love” but rather firm judgment.  And Jesus will return to judge the heretical contemporary Christian church that preaches this twisted view.

Jesus said in Luke 12:49 “I have come to cast fire upon the earth; and how I wish it were already kindled!”.   Strange?  don’t hear too much love in that one.  Don’t really know what Bible they’re reading from, but it’s a whole lot different than the real one. This fake Jesus is a creation of the LGBT Mafia and it has been well leavened into the church. The real Jesus would be crucified by these people.

This is the modern day social justice (a euphemism for Marxism) Christian church. Make no mistake about it, the “forgiveness, compassion, and love” is all from the social gospel and gay theology. This is the gospel of permanent acceptance of one abomination in particular: homosexuality and all the sexual offshoots coming from this poisoned root.

“We want to provide a safe place…”  –To the careful listener this sounds very similar to the “safe space” that the LGBT religion establishes on campuses.  These are places of “love” only; no truth allowed to enter.

Jesus said in John 14:6, “I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life, no one comes to the father but by me”.  Let’s see… we have way, truth, and life and a rather exclusive way to salvation stated, but there is no mention of forgiveness, compassion, or love.

But they say, “Jesus was not exclusive. He was radically inclusive.”  Well…except….. He kinda was.  Show me the verse (they quote none) where Jesus invited everyone, the good the bad and the ugly, the gay and the straight, the poor and the rich, the Pharisee and the Sadducees, and everyone came and there was a big inclusive lovefest.   Not there, sorry not there.  But don’t worry Big Religion is spending hundreds of millions of dollars to convince you that Jesus actually says this. There’s money to be made in Judas’s social gospel of love and radical acceptance.

And of course I could do this all day long quoting hundreds and hundreds of passages spoken by the real Jesus, not the “radical” Jesus of acceptance, limitless compassion, and love for anyone and anything, regardless of what they do.  There is only one actual sin according to them, the mentioning of sin and judgment, repentance, or righteousness.

“We’re also here to support and listen to you.”  – Oh really? Do you think they would want to talk to a person like me?  Or Seth Hancock?  Someone who actually knows their Bible? Someone who fears the real God? I would think not.  The passive/aggressive arrogance of these people make me sick.  This is what the fully feminized left wing church looks like.  Need more proof?  Read This Our agenda is to rediscover the love story of Jesus.”  Why it’s every girl’s dream to be involved in a “love story”.   People we have to see through this for what it is.

There is so much wrong with this group in the contemporary Christian church, you simply must read the article by Seth Hancock above as he points out many other things that are wrong that also crossed my mind. He even includes a wonderful speech by the late great Paul Harvey “If I Were the Devil” which is a must listen.

The very marketing slogan “He Gets Us” demonstrates the “me” centered gospel rather than one focused on God.  Whether He gets us or not is irrelevant, what is really important is that we get and understand God.  Or as Seth puts it “It isn’t about if Jesus gets us. It’s whether we get Him.”   Of course God gets us, He created us and He’s God!  But of course they don’t want to talk about God, but only Jesus, whom they can turn into the hipster version of God, the lovey-dovey LGBT accepting of all things really cool, and Michael Jackson bad, Son of God, who according to them shares nothing in common with his unbending and old-fashioned Father.

The parallel between Seth’s article and my email is delightfully profound.  Please read both as we cover different angles of the same truths.

I was going to open this email with the following verse but instead I will use it to close. It is Psalm 25:8-10. When I read this Psalm I saw these verses as a true and proper statement for the mission of the church, and certainly far far superior than the twisted satanic slogan “He Gets Us”. Notice the difference in the real Bible as opposed to the Super Bowl ad. This is real food rather than gummy worms.

Good and upright is the LORD;
Therefore He instructs sinners in the way.

He leads the humble in justice,
And He teaches the humble His way.

All the paths of the LORD are lovingkindness and truth
To those who keep His covenant and His testimonies.

The church should be guided in this way. Until next week, follow the path of righteousness, be haters of sin and the devil, and stay far from the camp of the Covidites.
